Marianne has extensive experience advising on Norwegian and international tax, corporate law and general commercial law. She frequently assists in transactions and acquisitions, including due diligence, structural advice and cross-border restructurings of large groups. Marianne is specialized in international taxation and advises clients with global operations, with in-depth knowledge of the rules on the global minimum tax for large groups and other international tax regimes.
She also has substantial experience with succession and assists family offices and private owners with tax and corporate matters as well as business structuring. Marianne has a strong industry focus on traditional-,offshore-, and aquaculture shipping, and related maritime services. She regularly conducts courses on shipping taxation.
In addition, she works on litigation and appeals, assists clients with administrative complaints and has litigated tax cases at both District Court and Court of Appeal levels.
